Exchange Program for Postdoctoral Research Fellowships under ECTRIMS 2022

Scholarship Coverage

The Postdoctoral Research Fellowship offered by ECTRIMS gives the recipient the following benefits:

  1. This Fellowship is expected to pay every fellow an annual stipend of €55,000.
  2. ECTRIMS will also offer low-cost round-trip transportation from the candidate's residence to the training location. The program doesn't cover travel expenses for family members.
  3. The amount paid by ECTRIMS is to the hosting establishment and is believed to be the student's patron. The stipends will be paid directly by the host institution according to the policies and schedules of the institution for payments. The cost of transportation for transfer to the instruction place can be reimbursed directly to students once receipts are sent to ECTRIMS.
  4. The institution uses its ECTRIMS grant to reimburse the Fellowship ("salary") following the amount corresponding to the degree of their study. If there are any remaining funds, the remainder of the award can be used to pay benefits that the institution receives from social services (health assurance pensions, insurance for health and various other benefits) to which the institution is entitled.
  5. Suppose the total stipend and benefits exceed the amount provided by the ECTRIMS award. In that situation, the institution or mentor must boost an ECTRIMS award to cover the full cost.
  6. The institution hosting the fellows should disclose the expected salary for fellows and the total cost of social benefits per year.
  7. If you have an annual ECTRIMS award doesn't suffice to cover the total expenses for the Fellowship (salary as well as benefits). In that situation, alternative funds could cover the full cost. Established.
  8. It is expected that the research to be conducted by the host institution will be supported by the mentor institution or the host institution.
  9. Additional assistance with travel journals or books, or book subscriptions. This will be offered.
  10. Fellows must attend every year's ECTRIMS Congresses throughout their Fellowship. They are also expected to deliver a presentation (at an area specifically for young researchers or in a different venue) regarding their research which was supported by the grant. ECTRIMS will also provide support to cover travel and accommodation costs to participate in congresses.
